Devin Townsend is, in my opinion, one of the most important people in the world of music today. His boundary-pushing, imagination, and drive are like no one else’s; the man is a genius. Under numerous different guises, Devin Townsend has produced everything from heavy, atmospheric, alien-based music to everything in between – but put simply, Devin Townsend makes music that you experience.

The Moth is the realisation of a 10-year thought, after being approached by the head of the North Netherlands’ Orchestra and Choir with a view to bringing the two worlds together – The Moth became.

The album itself is 24 tracks that span around 70 minutes and is the culmination of all the work that has come before Devin Townsend, while also paving the way for what is still to come. The unusual, the unique, the”how the fuck has he made this work and sound so good?” the journey, the genius and everything around it.
