Indie rock songsmith Jon Snodgrass is building momentum into the March 29th release of his new album Barge At Will with the release of the lead single “Crunchin’ The Numbers” which features Chris Wollard (Hot Water Music, Ship Thieves) and Chris Cresswell (The Flatliners, Hot Water Music). As of today, the song is available worldwide via Digital Service Providers.

“I wrote that song at FEST walking between Bo Didley Plaza and Loosey’s with Cresswell,” recalls Jon Snodgrass. “A year later I called Wollard from the pool because I wanted both of my favorite dudes named Chris (from HWM) in on it. I mentioned ‘the pool’ because it’s the Stevenson family pool that only I have the pool pass to. Ha! Bill played drums and bass on this – obviously.”

Also, limited edition vinyl with hand-screened jackets is available for preorder in the USA via the Snod Store as well as SBAM Records in Europe and Thousand Island Records in Australia and Canada. In addition, Snodgrass will be hitting the road in spring (dates below).

Barge At Will was recorded, mixed, and mastered at The Blasting Room in Fort Collins, CO. Additionally, Bill Stevenson played drums and bass on the entire album.

In addition, a few of Snodgrass’ buddies including Chris Wollard (Hot Water Music), Chris Cresswell (The Flatliners, Hot Water Music), Peter “JR” Wasilewski (Less Than Jake), and Scott Reynolds (ALL) made contributions to a few songs.

From not having a Plan B (“Tired & True”) to being the opposite of outdoorsy (“Pre-Teen Wolf”) to scheduling shows around the Colorado Rockies’ schedule (“Crunchin’ The Numbers”) to a song written about Bremen, Germany while on tour (“Bremen Town”) – Barge At Will is about doing your best at the moment because life is shorter than you think.
