Flying high off the success of their second album, “Point Of No Return”, no pun intended, Those Damn Crows have followed it up with the sensational “Inhale/Exhale”, a ten-track classic that will whet everyone’s appetite.
”Fill The Void” gets us underway with a punchy drum and guitar combo that sets the song up nicely, Wood’s bass rumbles in the background giving the song a heavy kick and with Greenhall laying down a marker with his vocals it’s a brilliant opening. “Takedown” brings the groove with a touch of Disturbed to it, a thumping drum and bass line drive the track as Greenhall tears it up, add in a cracking solo from Thomas and you have a contender for track of the album.
“Man On Fire” takes the tempo up a notch with fast-cutting riffs and blasting drums, the addition of the keyboard is a nice touch while Huxford’s drumming is impressive laying the foundations for the song. “Wake Up(Sleepwalker)” slowly builds in intensity with a staccato drum beat as Greenhall’s restrained vocals ooze out of the speakers, the chorus hits with a massive wall of sound; the bass and guitars create a rhythm that makes the track really pop. “This Time I’m Ready” is a ballad that packs a punch; it starts out with a nice piano intro with Greenhall’s crooning vocals coming in over it all the while backed up by the subtle touch of a well-versed band, the track explodes towards the end that is very reminiscent of a Tremonti track, it’s brilliant.
“I Am” has a heavier feel to it, pounding drums laying the foundation for the track that bounces along coupled with gritty riffs and a buzzing bass line, Greenhall once again crushes it on his vocals sounding like Myles Kennedy at times, a killer track. “SEE You Again” just screams anthem with uplifting vocals, an airy melodic chorus’ and an infectious rhythm that will have your foot tapping and head bopping. “Lay It All On Me” is a heavier, slower tune that has a massive bass line that provides a perfect foil for Greenhall’s silky smooth vocals and some cracking guitar work from Thomas and Winchurch, this is a real dark horse that just gets better with each listen. “Find Away” is a grittier track with chugging riffs, a slow but thundering drum beat and a thick bass line, Greenhall’s vocals are once again fantastic while Thomas’ solo is impressive, for my money this is the best track on the album.
The album finishes with “Waiting For Me” in incredible fashion, a slow heavy beat permeates the track and pummels you with its relentlessness, it creates a cool groove that is infectious and combined with Greenhall’s vocals it is killer.

Expectations were high for the follow-up to “Point Of No Return” and you will not be disappointed, this is an absolute cracker of an album and will only elevate them
