SABINA BEYLI releases official music video for new single ‘Bones’

Azerbaijani-born alt-rock artist Sabina Beyli has today released the official music video for her powerful new single, ‘Bones’.

A stark and deeply personal release, ‘Bones’ explores body image struggles and the lasting impact of disordered eating, delivered through raw, atmospheric production and unfiltered lyricism. Stripping things back emotionally, the track stands as one of Sabina’s most honest moments to date – balancing vulnerability with a message of healing and self-compassion.

Speaking of the single Sabina Beyli shares, “Bones is a  personal record rooted in my lifelong struggle with body image and eating disorders. I wrote the song with my friend and co-writer Tuta, following a session where my producer and I built the instrumental. Once the production was in place, the emotion poured out naturally, it became less about writing a song and more about telling the truth. The record reflects the psychological weight of disordered eating, self-criticism, and the way these struggles quietly consume so many people. “Bones” is not about glorifying pain, it’s about recovery, awareness, and compassion. Millions of people live with these battles every day, often in silence, and this song is my way of saying: you’re not alone, healing is possible, and we need to be kinder to ourselves and each other.”

Sabina Beyli continues to mention, “The visuals in Bones are all metaphorical. Breaking mirrors represents destroying old versions of myself and shattering the way I saw my own reflection. Smashing plates symbolizes releasing built-up emotions and letting chaos exist instead of holding everything together. Even biting into the apple represents temptation, self-destruction, and making choices you know will leave a mark. Every act of destruction in the video isn’t really about breaking objects, it’s about what has to fall apart inside you before you can rebuild.”

Sabina Beyli is part of a new wave of alternative pop artists blurring the lines between dark pop, rock, and emotionally charged songwriting. Combining cinematic production with sharp, confessional lyricism, the Azerbaijani-born singer-songwriter has built a reputation for turning personal experiences into songs that feel both intimate and universally relatable.

A graduate of Berklee College of Music and the first Azerbaijani woman to earn a degree from the institution, Beyli brings a rare combination of technical musicianship and unfiltered storytelling to her work. Her music explores themes of self-destruction, identity, fractured relationships, and emotional resilience, delivered through a sound that sits comfortably between alternative pop, modern rock, and the darker edges of contemporary mainstream music.

Recent singles ‘Bad Habits’ and ‘Culprit’ showcase her most direct and self-assured material to date. Written alongside producer and fellow Berklee alum Mike Midura, the tracks capture the tension between vulnerability and empowerment, pairing raw emotion with hook-driven songwriting and expansive production.

Alongside her growing catalogue, Beyli has cultivated an audience of more than 100,000 followers across social platforms, connecting with listeners drawn to her authenticity and fearless approach to self-expression. With each release, she continues to refine a sound that refuses easy categorisation, positioning herself as one of the most exciting emerging voices operating at the intersection of alternative pop and rock.

As she enters her next chapter, Sabina Beyli is establishing herself as an artist defined not by genre, but by emotional honesty, creative ambition, and a clear vision for where alternative music can go next.
