134 album cover draft

Formed in February 2016, Greensboro, North Carolina based outfit Come Clean are back, with their with high energy brand of pop-punk. With fast melodic leads accompanied by heavier tones, Come Clean merges the melody and nostalgia of the throwbacks with a songmanship and relevance rooted in the now.

Taking influence from contemporaries such as Neck Deep and Set Your Goals, as well as some of the genre’s instigators in the form of Jimmy Eat World and The Starting Line, Come Clean’s formation was inspired by the anger and frustrations of a broken relationship, coupled with inspiration from Trophy Eyes’ 2015 Warped Tour set.

In 2019, the band signed to Standby Records for their sophomore EP, ‘From Down the Street’, a 4-track that exhibited more focus than their earlier work, whilst retaining the explosivity and grit evident on debut collection ‘Won’t Wait’.

Traversing the pandemic years with two singles and a cover of New Found Glory classic, “Dressed To Kill”, Come Clean have built towards their debut full-length, with a patient diligence, harnessing the angst, mindfulness and challenges of the last three years.

Self-recorded, and mastered by Grant Berry (Stand Atlantic, Boston Manor), ‘134’ is a collation of Come Clean’s journey to date. With songs grounded in everyday struggles such as love, loss and mental health, the Greensboro outfit bring their debut LP to life with a high-octane medley of punchy guitars and soaring vocals. Incorporating splashes of post-hardcore influence, Come Clean marry upbeat and pacey with contemplative subject matter, taking the listener on a thought-provoking and unwaveringly fun journey as they go.
