MILLIE MANDERS AND THE SHUTUP have released their new single REBOUND and the accompanying video to coincide with our annual celebration of all things love and lust. You can watch the video here:

Although released on Valentine’s Day, the song is for those who fell for the whispered words amidst the deceit, for those who belatedly discovered that they were in fact the rebound. An anti-Valentine’s song, if you will. An ode to toxic online dating.

 

As Millie explains: “Rebound reflects my experience with online dating, but most people I have spoken to have had similar and worse experiences with it. I wanted to write a song that was in solidarity with those on the receiving end of a rebound relationship and let them know they were never the problem.”

 

 

MILLIE MANDERS AND THE SHUTUP will tour in April following a breakthrough 2022 which enhanced their reputation as one of most exhilarating live acts in the country after support tours with Less Than Jake and Ferocious Dog; headline UK tours in the spring and the autumn; countless festival appearances throughout the UK including Kendal Calling, Rebellion and North East Calling; and their first headline tour of Germany. 2023 will also see the band perform throughout the summer and into the autumn at numerous prestigious festivals, including Bearded Theory, North West Calling and Slam Dunk.
