On July 6th, Lime Cordiale will hit the road in North America starting in Washington, DC and supported by labelmates Teenage Dads. The 17-date tour has them visiting several major cities across the US and Canada before heading over to the UK and Europe. These dates follow the group’s summer 2022 tour, which were their first North American shows in three years. After selling out shows in NY, LA, Toronto, and Denver, Lime Cordiale will cater to their growing fanbase in the Western Hemisphere by returning to play almost twice as many shows as they did last year. The new single and tour come on the heels of Lime Cordiale winning the Rolling Stone Reader’s Choice Award. They also follow the band’s four 2023 triple j Hottest 100 charting singles including the summery, surf-pop single “Facts of Life” (#15); “Colin” (#34), which pays tribute to and features Men At Work frontman Colin Hay; and the whip-smart single about the absurdity of status and class “Country Club” (#60). All these singles will be featured on the band’s forthcoming third studio album. This year’s success also follows a stacked 2022 which saw Lime Cordiale release Cordi Elba – their mini album with actor, musician, DJ and record label boss Idris Elba. The mini-LP debuted at #9 on the ARIA album chart and spawned hit singles “Apple Crumble” and “What’s Not To Like,” landing at #14 and #41 on the triple j Hottest 100 respectively. In addition, the video for “What’s Not to Like” earned an ARIA nomination for “Best Video” and the track “Holiday” was remixed by the legendary Fatboy Slim. The band headlined several successful Australian tours last year, performing to 34,000 fans on the 14 Steps to A Better You and Facts of Life tours, playing festival sets at Groovin’ The Moo, NYE in the Park and more. Lime Cordiale has amassed over 350 million streams on Spotify, 29 million Apple Music streams, with YouTube views exceeding 20 million.
