Today, the band shared a music video for advance single “Idlemind” via Heavy Blog Is Heavy, who had this to say about the track “Idlemind”, which opens the album, is just as influenced by Manic Street Preachers as it is And So I Watch You From Afar, creating a track that is both dreamy and very present, catapulted forwards by the momentum created by the band’s dedication to groove.” Watch “Idlemind” video here. The first single, “Idlemind”, is the catchiest and most positive song on the album musically, despite the fact that the lyrics paint a portrait of someone struggling to find meaning in life and being able to make the change needed to find it. Offers the band about this advance track. Kambodsja from Drammen in Norway is one of the most respected long lived underground bands in Norway. The band only cares about making the music that comes most naturally to them there and then, without any particular guidelines, dogmas or genre rules. This happens to result in what some have described as a mixture of skewed metal, energetic punk and progressive indie rock. For Kambodsja, music is not just a genre, but an attitude and working method characterized by curiosity and exploration rather than using old recipes. |
