BREAKOUT COUNTRY ARTIST GARETH RELEASES NEW SINGLE ‘ONE THAT GOT AWAY’ TODAY (AUG. 14)
Opening track on forthcoming anticipated album ‘Halfway Home’ – Out Oct. 2
Returning for 16-Date UK and European Headline Tour in November

NASHVILLE, TN. / LONDON, U.K. Northern Irish, Nashville-based country artist Gareth has today released new single ‘One That Got Away’ – the opening song on his forthcoming debut album Halfway Home – out October 2nd and available to pre-order/save here.
Commenting on the single which he co-wrote with Jules Brave (Lauren Spencer Smith, Will Linley), Autumn Buysse (Dasha, Tyler Braden) and Seth Michael (Dylan Scott, Warren Zeiders, Ashley Cooke), Gareth shared, “‘One That Got Away’ is a reminder to hold on to the people you love the most. Whether it’s a partner, friend, or family member, the song reminds us to stay close to the people who mean the most to us. Sonically, this feels like a perfect way to kick off my debut album and gives you a taste of what is to come on it!”
Halfway Home is an album about living between two worlds: the place that raised you and the place you are chasing your dreams. Born in Ireland and now building a life in Nashville, Gareth shares the story of leaving home without ever really leaving it behind.
Across the project, he explores the emotional pull of family, memory and identity while pursuing a dream that requires sacrifice. His loved ones remain back home in Ireland, while Nashville becomes the city where ambition, heartbreak, growth and possibility all collide. That tension sits at the heart of the album: missing home while knowing you had to leave it, finding belonging in a new place while still carrying the old one with you.
Whilst he was in London last week, Gareth hosted an intimate listening party for select fans at Lil’ Nashville, where he previewed some of the forthcoming tracks. He will return to the UK in November for the Halfway Home Tour – a 16-date headline tour across the UK and Europe. Tickets are on sale now here.
