| Today, Tel Aviv alt-metal force WALKWAYS have revealed that their long-awaited third album A Reminder will be released on 28th August via Wild Thing Records. To celebrate the news, they’ve shared a striking cinematic music video for its title track. Following the international impact of their sophomore album Bleed Out, Heal Out (NuclearBlast, 2019), WALKWAYS enter a new, deeply introspective chapter with their forthcoming album A Reminder. It’s the band’s most intimate and resolute statement to date – a meditation on relapse and recovery, rage and acceptance, and the quiet endurance required to keep breathing. Moving between crushing intensity and moments of fragile calm, the album blends groove-driven alternative metal with cinematic depth, confronting trauma, inner demons, and transformation. Every wound is a reminder to heal. Speaking on his feelings about the new album, vocalist Ran Yerushalmi warmly and simply states:
“I wish I had this album to listen to back when I was extremely troubled and had no-one to hold on to.” Pre-order / pre-save A Reminder here As the third single of the upcoming album, ‘A Reminder‘ perfectly represents the emotional core that the record has been built around. It’s a song written to reaffirm that pain and struggle are not obstacles, but forces. It frames hardship as a catalyst, shaping who we are, fuelling growth, sharpening strength, and ultimately forcing us to evolve. Speaking on the inspiration behind the new single, Yerushalmi shares:
“This is the lens through which I choose to experience life. I see every wound and every downfall not as something to escape, but as an opportunity to grow – experiences as intense and meaningful as joy, love, and every other moment of beauty along the way.” Listen to ‘A Reminder’ here

| Formed by Yerushalmi and guitarist Bar Caspi, WALKWAYS grew from a formative songwriting partnership into a fully realised force with the addition of guitarist Yoni Menner. The lineup was completed by bassist Avihai Levy and drummer Priel Horesh (the band’s lineup until this day), solidifying the group’s identity ahead of their acclaimed independent debut Safe In Sound and their impactful sophomore album Bleed Out, Heal Out (Nuclear Blast). From the point forward, WALKWAYS rapidly ascended within the Israeli metal scene while drawing increasing global attention. The band have toured extensively throughout Europe and the UK, most recently supporting Australia’s Ne Obliviscaris in 2024. WALKWAYS have also been hand-picked as direct support for internationally renowned acts including Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed, Jinjer, In Flames, Devin Townsend, Memphis May Fire and The Omnific. Festival appearances include Wacken Open Air (DE – 3rd appearance in 2024), Hellfest (FR), Euroblast (DE), Free For All (DE), Reeperbahn Festival (DE), ArtMania (RO), and Tbilisi Jam Fest (GE). Stay tuned for more WALKWAYS updates in the near future. |

ABOUT WALKWAYS:
Pushing the boundaries of alternative heavy music, Tel Aviv powerhouse WALKWAYS channel raw emotion through relentless intensity and intrinsic dynamics. Bound together by a close-knit brotherhood, the band craft deeply immersive music that is as confrontational as it is vulnerable – an emotional force that has resonated far beyond their geographic origins, reaching audiences across the globe.WALKWAYS create as an act of release, healing, and transformation. Their music serves as both refuge and resistance – an antidote to the psychological weight of life in Israel and the Middle East, and an oasis where humanity, clarity, and self-determination can endure. Each song reflects a conscious choice forward. We all choose our own paths. Our own walkways.Their 2019 record Bleed Out, Heal Out (Nuclear Blast) marked a major leap forward for the band, showcasing their unique ability to fuse ferocious riffs and visceral screams with soaring melodies and moments of stark vulnerability. Self-produced by WALKWAYS, the album was mixed by drummer Priel Horesh and mastered by Ermin Hamidovich (Periphery), firmly establishing the band on the international heavy music stage. |
