Following their breakout 2025, during which Brighton’s fast-rising misfits EVILLE released their debut EP BRAT METAL and played pivotal festival slots at Reading & Leeds2000 Trees and Burn It Down Festival, the trio kick-start 2026 with their new single, ‘BLOW UP!’

Heavy, melodic, and unapologetically Y2K, the track is the ultimate audience sing-along anthem, seamlessly shifting from massive pop choruses to brutal metal breakdowns in true EVILLE style. An empowering call to reach your full potential and ignore the doubters, ‘BLOW UP!’ builds on a monumental 2025 and heralds an even bigger year ahead for the band.

Speaking of the track, vocalist Eva Sheldrake shares, “We wanted to write a song that fans could sing along to at live shows, something fun and empowering to get everyone moving. We had so much fun writing it, and we feel like that really shines through in the recording.”

Brighton trio EVILLE have coined their own genre, Brat Metal, fusing bratty, hyper-feminine lyricism with ferocious metal instrumentals – a thrilling collision of chaos, confidence, and catharsis.

The band – singer/guitarist Eva Sheldrake, bassist/singer/producer Jude Richards, and drummer Milo Hemsley – have quickly exploded onto the UK music scene. They earned early acclaim from BBC Radio 1’s Alyx Holcombe, who named them Track of the Week twice and included them in her Ones To Watch for 2025, alongside support from Radio X and Kerrang!, cementing their reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting new heavy acts.

Renowned for their explosive live shows, EVILLE have torn up stages at festivals including Reading & Leeds, 2000 Trees, and Burn It Down, and shared tours with scene-defining acts like WARGASM, Delilah Bon, Cody Frost, THE HARA, Tetrarch, RedHook, and As Everything Unfolds.

Looking ahead, EVILLE continue to dominate the live circuit, joining As December Falls on their UK & Ireland tour in February/March, supporting Alien Ant Farm in June, and performing at RADAR Festival in August. With their genre-defying sound and unstoppable energy, EVILLE are carving out a bold new path for heavy music in 2026.
