British Rockers Beth Blade & The Beautiful Disasters Open Up About Their ‘Damage’ On New Single!

Following a social media blackout, British rockers Beth Blade & The Beautiful Disasters released their latest single, ‘Damage’, on August 22nd, the follow up to their previous efforts, ‘Never Let Go’ and ‘You Only Love Me When You’re Drunk’. The release follows the band’s announcement of the dueling artwork and title of their latest album; “Vintage Rebel x Trauma Bond”, the follow up to their 2022 album “Mythos, Confession, Tragedies and Love”, which will release on September 12th!

Speaking about the recent reveal and the meaning behind their new album, Blade said:
“This is an album for those whose souls are torn in two, for those who need to escape from real life or who wear a mask to get through their day. For the moments we’re able to forget the world and burn brightly to the music and for the nights we don’t wanna turn off the light because we fear ourselves more than the monsters. It’s two distinctive sides and personalities existing in one vessel to deliver a story.

“Vintage Rebel” explores the retro, the history, the old school and everything we’ve learned from the trailblazers of the past about rock and roll and what that legacy means to us with our own twist. While “Trauma Bond” is something else entirely. It’s about the pain, the struggle, the fight to keep going in the face of all the darkness and being able to sit with it and still choose to move forward.”

Speaking about new single ‘Damage’, she further stated:
“For those of us who have been manipulated, gaslit and abused we know how hard it is to live with, not just whilst it’s happening, but for the rest of our lives. We often become the problem in our own minds because when someone tells you how awful you are on a daily basis you can start to believe it and then it’s even harder to unlearn it.

‘Damage’ is about the journey from experiencing the worst of the worst, being at rock bottom but trying to learn how to love yourself again. Believing that there is beauty in being broken, that the breaking wasn’t your fault and that you are perfect in your imperfection.”

Since bursting onto the scene, Blade and her disasters have built a reputation for monster riffs, huge choruses and a dose of old school rock and roll attitude. With aggressive muscle and melodic sensitivity, they have an unmistakable modern presence whilst keeping the spirit of old school rock and roll alive.

The band have been a non-stop force to be reckoned with, through hard work and graft building a strong pedigree touring with Marco Mendoza (ex-Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy) and The Electric Boys, and have supported old and new legends such as Kee Marcello, Y and T, Doro Pesch, Dan Reed Network and Danny Vaughan (Tyketto), Ricky Warwick (Thin Lizzy, Blackstar Riders), Massive Wagons, Those Damn Crows, The Dead Daisies, Graham Bonnet (Rainbow), and Thundermother. They are no strangers to festivals either having performed at Hard Rock Hell, Planet Rockstock, Planet Rock’s Winter’s End and most notably with KISS on the globally renowned KISS Kruise in the USA. This year they are hitting Maid of Stone festival with the likes of Black Stone Cherry and The Sweet.

The band’s first three albums received glowing reviews across the rock press (each album crowdfunded by their fans and resulted in international radio airplay including rotation on major networks in the UK, like Planet Rock, multiple and BBC radio stations Beth herself, who is often likened to a mix between Lzzy Hale and Suzi Quatro, has sung backing vocals on two albums with British Rock legends Thunder, one which reached number three in the UK Top 40 Album Chart and number one in the UK Rock Chart.

Their last album “Mythos, Confession, Tragedies and Love” was released on July 8th, 2022, receiving rave reviews from all corners of the media. The album itself lead the band down a musically intense path, going darker and deeper than ever before whilst Beth spoke out publicly to Sky News about her experiences as a survivor of domestic violence hoping to use the music to help people through their own experiences.

The band is fiercely determined and has the grit to surpass their previous accomplishments through intense live performances and a passion for rock and roll that is unrivaled.
