LISTEN NOW: CHARLIE WORSHAM, KIP MOORE TEAM UP FOR ‘KISS LIKE YOU DANCE’
Worsham’s New Project Compadres Due Oct. 13
Nominated for Musician of the Year at the 57th Annual CMA Awards
NASHVILLE, TN. / LONDON, U.K. – (For immediate release) – Celebrated singer / songwriter, instrumentalist and recording artist Charlie Worsham is turning the volume up for the next track from his forthcoming collaborations project, Compadres. ‘Kiss Like You Dance‘ feat. Kip Moore, declared “excellent” by The Tennessean’s Marcus Dowling, is out now (listen HERE). Nashville hit-makers Jon Nite, Andrew DeRoberts and Andy Albert co-wrote the flirtatious track.
“‘Kiss Like You Dance’ is irresistibly fun to play, it’s a fun singalong and it’s full of honkytonk guitar gold,” Worsham said. “I love playing it live. I’m especially excited that my buddy Kip is on this track, and we’ve got a killer music video coming for y’all soon.”
‘Kiss Like You Dance’ is the upbeat counterpart to Worsham’s previous release, the highly acclaimed ‘How I Learned To Pray‘ feat. Luke Combs. MusicRow declared it a “little moment of musical magic,” commending “Worsham’s pitch-perfect voice and guitar eloquence” alongside “a wonderfully sympathetic assist by Combs.” Check out the song’s official music video here.
‘Kiss Like You Dance’ and ‘How I Learned To Pray’ will be featured on Compadres, due October 13 (pre-order HERE). The five-track project features a handful of Worsham’s most decorated collaborators and fiercest champions: Combs, Moore, Elle King, Lainey Wilson and Dierks Bentley (full track listing below). Produced by The Cadillac Three frontman Jaren Johnston, Compadres is a versatile introduction to the next chapter of a decade-long story. More than that, it is a musical statement from his supporters that Charlie Worsham will have his moment.
From his debut album Rubberband to his 2021 EP Sugarcane, Worsham’s discography has earned unflagging praise from critical outlets including NPR, The Wall Street Journal, The Tennessean, Billboard and Rolling Stone. A lauded multi-instrumentalist, Worsham is currently nominated for Musician of the Year at the 57th CMA Awards. He was previously honored with the 2022 ACM Award for Acoustic Guitar Player of the Year.
In addition to creating his own music, the proud Mississippi native continues to tour as part of Dierks Bentley’s band. He has also contributed his talents as both a vocalist and instrumentalist to projects from Eric Church, Lainey Wilson, Brandy Clark, Vince Gill, Hailey Whitters, Corey Kent, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban, among others.
Like his Compadres have done for him, Worsham continues to uplift his fellow “liner note legends” as host of Pickers Radio on Apple Music Country. Listen HERE.
