WARGASM are no longer the riot you wish you started – they’re the fire already spreading. The duo of Milkie Way and Sam Matlock have spent the last few years turning their collision of metal, industrial, rave, punk and glitch-pop into one of the most unmistakable sounds in modern alternative music, building a movement that thrives equally on chaos, catharsis and community.
After detonating the underground with early cult favourites like Spit., Salma Hayek, Rage All Over and Scratchcard Feeling, WARGASM lit the fuse on 2022’s explosive EXPLICIT: THE MIXXXTAPE. The project earned co-signs from the likes of Jonathan Davis (Korn) and Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit), the latter even taking the duo across arenas on a U.S. tour. Their hybrid sound and anarchic live shows quickly made them the kind of band just as comfortable supporting YUNGBLUD as they were sharing stages with Slipknot or BABYMETAL.
In 2023, WARGASM unleashed their official debut album VENOM – a savage, seductive and unpredictable middle finger to genre convention, fuelled by a generation’s righteous rage and digital dysfunction. Singles including Bang Ya Head(feat. Fred Durst), Do It So Good and Modern Love blurred the lines between club floors and mosh pits with unapologetic abandon, cementing the duo as one of the most vital and uncompromising forces in modern alternative music.
Since then, WARGASM have only widened the blast radius. Relentless global touring, major festival appearances and collaborations that ignore every rulebook have pushed the band into a league of their own, including their explosive collaboration with Pendulum, further proving their ability to fuse rock, electronic music and pure adrenaline without compromise.
In July 2025, the duo unveiled Small World Syndrome, a razor-edged anthem capturing the paranoia, overload and fractured reality of modern life while sounding tailor-made for both warehouse raves and festival main stages. That momentum carried into September 2025, when WARGASM staged their landmark sold-out Phones Free headline show at London’s Outernet, with a stampede of people surrendering their devices to become fully immersed in the experience – a bold statement from a band determined to create moments that feel dangerous, immediate and real.
Now, joining forces with Hopeless Records and back with new music, WARGASM are operating at full power. Milkie Way and Sam Matlock continue to tear down the boundaries between rock, electronic music, punk and pop, rebuilding them in their own image with every release, every show and every collision left in their wake. The future isn’t coming – WARGASM are already kicking the door through.
