EXCLUSIVE ROCK SOUND COVER OUT NOW + LIMITED EDITION RED CASSETTE Critically acclaimed alternative artist RØRY has shared her most vital and compelling single yet. Today she’s shared ‘SWALLOW‘, an alluring yet inescapably dark anthem that explores the depths of sorrow and anguish. The single is the final track to be revealed ahead of the release of her highly anticipated second album, BLOODLETTING, which will arrive on 11th September via SADCØRE RECORDS.The accompanying music video is RØRY‘s most ambitious, striking and visually intense to date. In keeping with her newfound penchant for all things heavy and metal, the video features alarming footage where she appears to be suffocated and drowned. Shooting those kinds of scenes can be dangerous, and RØRY found that out the hard way. Speaking on the single and music video shoot, RØRY unveils:
“SWALLOW is about the place grief can take you, where you feel suspended somewhere between life and death. You don’t actually want to die, but there’s this fucked up thought that if you did, at least you’d be where they are. And at the same time, you have no idea how you’re supposed to keep living without them. “I wanted the video to physically go to that same place. I’m suffocating under a plastic bag and drowning in a bath. I pushed it way too far. I ended up passing out on set, which has never happened to me before! But actually, the intensity of capturing that in the performance made it feel painfully real… like I’d managed to put the physical sensation of grief on camera.” Watch the music video for ‘SWALLOW’ here from 8pm BST

| Following her inspiring and commanding main stage performance at Download Festival 2026, RØRY announced THE BLOODLETTING UK TOUR, her biggest ever headline UK run to date. Taking place in January 2027, the six-date tour will see her hit stages in Manchester, Glasgow, Nottingham, Birmingham and Cardiff, ending with an enormous show at London’s prestigious O2 Academy Brixton. Support across all dates comes from Delilah Bon and Mothica. Speaking on the tour, RØRY shares:

ABOUT RØRY AND BLOODLETTING:
What happens when the dreams come true but the grief remains? When the wounds heal but the anger stays buried beneath them? When mortality, loss and heartbreak continue to exist regardless of how much progress you have made?For much of her life, RØRY had been comfortable writing about sadness. Anger was another matter entirely. As therapy forced her to confront decades of suppressed emotions, she found herself face to face with feelings she had spent a lifetime avoiding: rage, resentment, jealousy, revenge, even hatred. Emotions that felt dangerous. Emotions that had never appeared in her songwriting before. The title itself became the perfect metaphor. Historically, bloodletting was an ancient medical practice where blood was released from the body to cure illness. For RØRY, it became a spiritual act. A release of everything buried too deep for too long. The result is the heaviest, most ambitious and most expansive music of her career. Working once again with long-time collaborators Kingdoms alongside additional production and mixing from Dan Lancaster (Bring Me The Horizon, Muse), RØRY pushed herself further than ever before. Inspired by the emotional weight of modern heavy music and determined to evolve as an artist, she began taking vocal lessons and learned to scream for the first time, discovering a new language capable of expressing emotions clean vocals could never fully contain.
