ABOUT GLORY
GLORY is an exploration of confidence, disgust, infatuation, and power — widescreen indie-rock you can strut to. It’s the sound of the bus ride home after a night out, mascara smeared and battery on 1%. It’s the conspiratorial eye roll you share with a friend when a guy won’t stop talking. It’s Cher Horowitz muttering “Ugh, as if!” in Clueless.
Produced by 3× GRAMMY Award-winner Catherine Marks (boygenius, Wolf Alice), Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers locked themselves away for five weeks in a home studio tucked deep in the New South Wales bush. Marks created an environment where they could push, play, and discard without hesitation, arriving at the truest version of their sound. Every lyric, riff, and take on GLORY landed exactly as intended — sharp, honest, and brimming with personality.
Mixed by Oli Jacobs (3× GRAMMY Award winner – Kendrick Lamar, beabadoobee, Taylor Swift) and mastered by Ruairi O’Flaherty (Sabrina Carpenter, Lana Del Rey, Bleachers), GLORY showcases the band’s evolution from garage-bred beginnings to a sleek, biting post-punk force. Across its singles — which have already surpassed a million Spotify streams.
ABOUT TEEN JESUS AND THE JEAN TEASERS
Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers — Anna Ryan (they/she; vocals/guitar), Scarlett McKahey (she/her; guitar/vocals), Jaida Stephenson (she/her; bass), and Neve van Boxsel (she/her; drums) — have built a reputation for clever, high-energy rock that blends grit, humor, and heart. Since the release of their debut EP Pretty Good For A Girl Band (2022), their Top 10 ARIA-charting debut album I Love You (2023), and its deluxe I Love You Too (2024 & featuring The Linda Lindas and Softcult), the band has earned global attention for their witty lyricism and punchy live shows — often drawing comparisons to Wet Leg and Wolf Alice.
The band has won multiple ARIA, AIR, and Rolling Stone awards, while also being named one of Spotify’s Artists To Watch and being selected for Spotify’s global Radar program. They were also hand-picked to open for legendary international heavyweights Foo Fighters and Pearl Jam, the latter who brought them to the US this past spring as sole support for six of their arena dates. Teen Jesus continues to push boundaries both on and off stage. They’re outspoken advocates for gender equality, LGBTQIA+ rights, and climate action as ambassadors for Green Music’s No Music on a Dead Planet campaign.
GLORY is out now and Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers will celebrate the release with a string of Australian dates and events this weekend. Catch them at the Laneway Festival 2026 and on tour in May across Australia and New Zealand. For the most up to date information, visit teenjesusandthejeanteasers.net.
