Suffer Announce New Single Soul from Flesh Ahead of Landmark New Era in 2026 |
Midlands deathcore quintet Suffer UK are building up to the release of their upcoming EP. After the success of their first single with the new line-up, they have once again unleashed an even more devastating song. The title track ‘Soul from Flesh’ arrives on Friday, 29th May 2026, across all major streaming platforms. Suffer’s music is heavier than matter and they have a tone that is darker than black. Formed in late 2018, Suffer quickly became a prominent name in the UK and European deathcore underground, making their live debut in 2019 alongside Annotations of an Autopsy before releasing a string of singles, videos, the ‘Heavy Silence’ EP, and their debut album ‘The Sorrow We Sow, The Hatred We Know’ while touring extensively across the UK and Europe. Following the departure of founding members Ash and Chobba in April 2024, the band entered a transitional phase before re-emerging in August 2025 with a revitalised lineup featuring Greg Hevican on vocals and Klaudiusz Trzebuniak on guitar. Now entering their most ambitious era to date, Suffer have already delivered explosive live performances and signed with DC Sound Attack for exclusive bookings. Also, signing a distribution deal with heavyweights Arson Theory, who will release their EP, setting the stage for a major new chapter. ‘Soul from Flesh’ serves as the second single from the band’s upcoming EP of the same name and further establishes the sonic and emotional direction of this new era. The track explores the feeling of never truly being comfortable within your own being and the desire for the soul to take a new form. Deeply personal in its themes, the song draws influence from experiences that have shaped the lives of the band members, including abandonment, anxiety, and imposter syndrome. The band explains: “Soul from Flesh is for those who know all too well that fresh starts require sacrifices.” Blending crushing instrumentation with emotionally driven lyricism, the single showcases the band’s evolving sound while maintaining the aggression and intensity that has defined Suffer since their inception. The single was written and composed by Suffer, with lyrics by Greg Hevican. Recording and editing were handled by Anthony Wall at Firestorm Studios, while tone creation, mixing, and mastering were completed by Will Cattanach at Freewill Productions. Visual production, including photography and videography, was captured by Chris at Brooker Films. Soul from Flesh continues the band’s major rollout for 2026, leading toward the release of the forthcoming EP later this year. The band will also take their new material on the road with extensive touring planned across the UK, Ireland, and mainland Europe, with additional announcements coming soon. |
