Releasing their highly anticipated sophomore album injury episode in May this year, Static Dress cemented their place as the defining act of post-hardcore’s 2020s renaissance. By mutating the sounds and blurring the edges of one of alternative music’s most well-loved genres, the UK four-piece have outright rejected the nostalgia often attached to post-hardcore and continued to innovate, with injury episode acting as a raw, unflinching evolution on a familiar sound. Widely regarded as one of 2026’s best alternative LPs, Static Dress have since taken to presenting the album how it’s meant to be heard – on the live stage – with their own intimate ‘Panic Room’ pop ups, two shows supporting Bring Me The Horizon as they performed debut album Count Your Blessings in full, festival performances and a North American run alongside Motionless In White. They are however, yet to exhibit the full injury episode live experience in North America. That will change this November and December as the band embark on a 27-date headline tour across the US. Featuring support from hotly-tipped Texan metalcore crew I Promised The World, Los Angeles emo supergroup Car Underwater (all dates), Californian metalcore/screamo hybrid Sherane (11/04 – 11/18), explosive Floridian newcomers concealer. (11/20 – 11/25) and emoviolence five-piece septemberistheonlytimeidontthinkofyou (11/27 – 12/06), Static Dress’ injury episode North American tour is not only a celebration of one of alternative music’s most acclaimed albums of the year, but a celebration of the scene that surrounds the group, featuring a rotating cast of six bands creating within the same world, but breathing new life into viscerally-charged emotional music in their own way. After compounding their reputation as one of the world’s most innovative musical entities, Static Dress are finally able to present their vision for injury episode in its natural environment; raw, confrontational, and with all its exposed nerves on display.
