Splitview sink into grungy, alt rock on new single “Lost”

Hailing from Connecticut, alternative rock band Splitview have been gaining steady traction since debuting on the scene earlier this year. Signed to Static Era Records (Clearbody, Cinema Stare) the band’s initial singles “Cherish” and “Into Nothing” have reached over 70,000 combined streams on Spotify alone. Splitview continue to build on their grunge influenced sound with single “Lost” out today. The track balances heavy and melodic, highlighted by an infectious chorus and stark moments of screams and reverb that sink into you. You can stream “Lost” HERE and watch the visualizer for the track HERE.

On the song’s lyrics, the band share:

“Lost tells a story of knowing that you’re stuck in a place where you shouldn’t be, yet the good continues to outweigh the bad, so you end up being stuck in your ways and haunted by the thought of escaping.”

Splitview has an upcoming show on October 24th in Hamden, CT at Space Ballroom supporting Greet Death and Low Animal. Expect more performances and music on the way.

Splitview is Erik Brzoska – Guitar and Vocals, Chris Kovacs  – Lead Guitar, Jimmy Davenport – Bass, and Max Laabs – Drums.
