After one of the most turbulent periods in Avulsed‘s extensive history – stretching back over thirty years – the legendary Spanish purveyors of skull crushing death metal have announced that they will release their eighth full length studio album on March 4th 2025! Featuring eleven devastating tracks of blood-hungry ferocity Phoenix Cryptobiosis represents a rebirth for Avulsed with dramatic changes to the band’s line-up. New members Alejandro Lobo (guitar), Alex Nihil (bass) and Victor Dws (guitar) have joined longstanding stalwarts Santiago Arroyo (drums) and vocalist Dave Rotten, bringing a revitalised razor sharpness to the band that fans will love.
Mastered by Davide Billia (Holycide, Posthuman Abomination, Rottenness etc) Phoenix Cryptobiosis possesses the finest sound of Avulsed’s extensive career – and the artwork courtesy of Daemorph Art (Stabbing, The Black Dahlia Murder, Demonstealer etc) is stunning!
