Today, Germany-based alternative outfit SEVEN BLOOD have returned, sharing their new single and music video for ‘Burst Into Flames’. The track is the first new music from the band since the release of their self-released 2025 debut album, Life Is Just A Phase.

On the new single, vocalist Azaria Nasiri comments:
“When we started writing ‘Burst in Flames’, I was thinking about those ‘cloudy days’ when you feel like you’re disappearing into the background of your own story—as if your life is being narrated by everyone but you. Sadly, people love to decide who you are and what you’re capable of before you’ve even had a chance to figure it out for yourself. It feels especially cruel when you are struggling and, instead of reaching out, others choose to ‘build a coffin’ around you.

“This song is for anyone who has been counted out. It’s for the moments when you realise that you are enough and that you carry a fire inside. Let them watch the fire rage. Don’t let them pull you under!”

ABOUT SEVEN BLOOD:
SEVEN BLOOD is more than just a band; it’s a collective born from personal crises, aiming to become a soundtrack for healing for those going through their own traumatic times. The quartet’s deeply personal songs tell the contrasting life stories of its members. There’s guitarist Oli Arnold and drummer Anfy Hartmann, who grew up in the former East German stronghold of Suhl, where their childhood was shaped by the constant decay of their hometown. “Growing up in a ghost town like that played a bigger role than I ever thought,” Oli reflects. Punk, metal, and emo became the soundtrack to their disillusionment, until at 18 they packed their bags and moved to Berlin to dive into a completely new music scene. There, they met singer Azaria Nasiri, whose youth was also a search for belonging. As the daughter of Moroccan and Iranian parents, she struggled to find her place. “I came from two very different cultural backgrounds and lived in a completely different one, which always made me feel like I was searching for a place where I belonged but never really found it,” Azaria explains. In spring 2023, AzariaOli, and Anfy came together—with bassist Josi Hille joining later—each at a personal and creative crossroads. The band became their outlet to channel pain into music. Their first single, ‘Killing From The Inside’, is the result of this raw honesty, based on Azaria’s experience with sociopathic behaviour and her own self-reflection.Despite their short history, SEVEN BLOOD has already built an impressive live career. They played their first show in 2024 supporting the US band Underoath. In their first year alone, they completed two major European tours, supporting both Future Palace and the Spanish metal band Ankor. The summer of 2025 marked the next milestone with major festival appearances at Summer BreezeNexus Festival, and the Wacken Cruise, as well as tours with US acts Kittie and Holy Wars.

Following the release of their debut album Life Is Just a Phase on 21st November 2025, the band charged into 2026 with immense energy. Their first co-headlining tour across Europe and the UK alongside the British band Lastelle in January 2026 was a triumphant success. While the shows in Berlin, Cologne, and London were completely sold out, the dates in Paris and Tilburg were exceptionally well-attended, underscoring the band’s growing international appeal.

SEVEN BLOOD creates a unique sound that blends heavy, riff-driven elements in the vein of Bring Me The Horizon, Architects, and Paramore with more atmospheric tones reminiscent of Fleetwood Mac and Boygenius. For them, it’s not just about how the music sounds, but the emotion it evokes and the stories it tells. The band’s mission is to build a connection with their fans based on honesty, respect, and a shared understanding of life’s challenges.
