Seb Lowe’s growing songbook uses melodic indie as the soundbed for songs which use probing wit and dark humour to address zeitgeist issues ranging from social injustice to politics and sexism. Those songs are connecting with an ever-growing audience on two fronts: with an attention-grabbing social media presence which has attracted almost 13 million likes on TikTok, and live shows in which his charisma is as compelling as his intense performances.
Now Seb Lowe is set to reach a much broader audience in 2026 with the confirmation of a major UK and European tour as special guest to ascendant dark pop icon Sofia Isella. The news comes as Seb and his band – Kate Couriel (violin) and Joel Goodwin (drums) – prepare to embark upon a UK headline tour later this month, which has seen the opening five dates sell-out in advance.
Seb says, “It’s all pretty good. Stupid good. First time in Europe with an artist we’ve looked up to for ages. It’s not the kind of thing we do. Or have ever done. An absolute privilege. Keep forgetting and remembering the silly fact that in a few months we’ll be off round Europe spreading music and words. Never been travelling. This is probably better. We hope any onlookers are into it.”
Still just 21-years-old, Seb Lowe’s influences come from a broad array of genres, but from artists which all share a flair for lyricism that’s at turns poetic, social realist or savagely humorous: Sinead O’ConnorLed ZeppelinArctic MonkeysEminem and David Bowie.
First emerging during the pandemic, he debuted with the 2021 EP ‘Half-Decent’, constantly evolving through to his most recent set, 2024’s ‘Make Me Your National Anthem’. His amplifying powers have continued this year too, with the metaphor-heavy ‘Cats & Dogs’, drawing parallels between war and social schism on ‘Little Caesar’, and playfully riffing on the passing of time with ‘Football Players’. Along the way, he has taken his band to some of the UK’s leading festivals including Truck, Y NOT? and the Neighbourhood Weekender.
Limited tickets for Seb Lowe’s headline shows in Nottingham and Newcastle are available HERE. Tickets for the Sofia Isella tour dates are available HERE.
