| Southern California rockers Robert Jon & The Wreck return with their latest single, “Run Back To Me,” out now on all major streaming platforms. A heartfelt, road-worn ballad, the track captures the emotional push and pull of life on tour and the ties that keep you grounded when you’re far from home. Stream “Run Back To Me. Order their latest studio album, Heartbreaks & Last Goodbyes. The song began with songwriter Desirae Megan, who was struck by a quiet moment while scrolling through a photo of Robert Jon with his family, thinking about how difficult it can be to stay connected to the people you love while living on the road. That feeling sparked an immediate melody and the impulse to write something that could bridge that distance. Months later, during a drive to a show, Desirae and keyboardist Jake Abernathie began shaping the idea into a full song, laying the foundation for what would become “Run Back To Me.” What followed is a track rooted in that sense of separation and connection – a reflection on the emotional reality of touring, where miles add up quickly but the pull of home never really fades. There’s a quiet urgency running through the song, anchored in the idea of holding onto something real while everything else keeps moving. “Run Back To Me” continues a steady run of releases from the band following their acclaimed studio album Heartbreaks & Last Goodbyes, produced by Grammy-winner Dave Cobb and released via Joe Bonamassa’s Journeyman Records. The album has earned widespread praise for its balance of raw energy and emotional depth, with Classic Rock Magazine calling it “their most accomplished work to date” and Rock & Blues Muse describing it as “a true testament to their ability to capture the human experience through music.” Since forming in 2011, Robert Jon & The Wreck – Robert Jon Burrison (vocals, guitar), Henry James (lead guitar, vocals), Andrew Espantman (drums, vocals), Warren Murrel (bass), and Jake Abernathie (keys) – have built a loyal global following through relentless touring and a sound that blends Southern rock roots with a distinctly West Coast perspective. Recent months have seen the band release a string of singles, expand their footprint across festivals and headline dates, and continue to evolve both onstage and in the studio. With “Run Back To Me” now out in the world, the band remains firmly in motion. Following a busy U.S. run and a European tour this spring, Robert Jon & The Wreck will continue their Heartbreaks & Last Goodbyes tour throughout the year, bringing their live show to audiences across the U.S. and abroad. Journeyman, the newest endeavor between Joe Bonamassa and his long-time manager Roy Weisman, is a vertically integrated music management, concert promotion, and marketing company that builds awareness for great live artists worldwide. After years of perfecting strategies, while building Joe Bonamassa’s career, the company will utilize the same savvy tactics that allowed them to overcome industry barriers that typically held back artists from achieving success. Journeyman provides the infrastructure to take an artist from its infancy, to record music and tour without dealing with the typical resistance of “gatekeepers” who don’t believe in or support emerging acts. Bonamassa has been keen on using his experience to pay it forward to help other artists navigate the murky industry waters. Consequently, Journeyman sets itself apart in this way as being the true market maker for their artists. |
