Rewild – London Alt-Rock Project Returns With Blistering New Track “In My Way’

Rewild began life in London (UK) as a 5-piece rock band active between 2012 and 2015, fronted by songwriter and composer Corrado Mandoli. With a raw, eclectic sound drawing on punk, hard rock, grunge, and alternative rock, the band built a name for itself through high-energy shows. In their brief but explosive run,

Rewild supported Iggy and The Stooges at Rock in Roma and City Sounds in Milan, performed across London’s live circuit and earned international radio airplay. They were featured in Rolling Stone Italy, invited to play alongside Steve Norman of Spandau Ballet, and caught the attention of influential figures such as Mike Watt and John Shirley, screenwriter of The Crow. Ten years later, Corrado is reviving Rewild as a solo project, returning the name to its original vision: an outlet for personal songwriting, voice, and energy without compromise. The years away from music brought perspective. After building a career as a physics teacher, encouragement from his students helped spark a return to songwriting and ultimately the rebirth of Rewild.

Rewild returns with “In My Way” , a defiant alternative rock single capturing the emotional tug of war that follows a breakup.

Driven by riff-heavy verses and a soaring, hook-laden chorus, the track channels the punch of classic 90s alternative rock while delivering lyrics that wrestle with pride, regret and resistance. The single marks the beginning of Rewild’s new chapter, with further releases leading toward a full album planned for 2026.

Originally formed in London and active between 2012 and 2015, Rewild supported Iggy and The Stooges and performed across iconic venues including The Jazz Café, The Barfly and O2 Academy. After a decade away from music, songwriter Corrado Mandoli revives the project with new material shaped by experience, resilience and renewed creative energy.

Rewild’s rebirth is more than a return to music. It’s the continuation of a journey cut short years ago, and a testament to resilience, growth, and finding your voice again. The upcoming album (2026) will mark the definitive statement of this new era, backed by live shows that embody both raw energy and celebration.
