New York’s genre-blending livewires Oxymorrons announced they will join Corey Taylor on his November UK and European tour. They will be starting the party in the UK, where they drop down into Leeds on 8 November and rip their way through Wolverhampton, Manchester, Glasgow and London on 14 November before they jet off to the Netherlands, where two Tilburg shows sandwich the run (18 and 24 Nov) with them set to electrify the crowds in Paris and then Germany; two shows in Cologne (20, 23 Nov) and one in Berlin (22 Nov). The band are getting ready to drop their highly anticipated debut album, ‘Melanin Punk,’ on 20 October via Mascot Records. The album features guest appearances by Hyro the Hero, Kid Bookie & Troi Irons. They have already unleashed the videos forLook Alive (Netic), Last Call ft. Troi Irons, Enemy and Graveyard Words, which have picked up radio spins from the BBC Radio 1 Rock Show, BBC Radio 1 Future Alternative show, BBC Radio 1 Indie Show and playlisted on Kerrang! Radio.
The announcement follows their August and September tour across the US with Corey Taylor, where their exuberant performances reached fever pitch. Talking about the run, Oxymorrons say, “Touring with Corey in the US was incredible! Our minds were blown by how much love not only he showed but also his entire team. We’ve been hyped to get back to the UK/EU after tearing it up with Bad Omens this past winter. So, when Corey asked us to join him, of course, we said yes!….. Who wouldn’t want to tour with a new friend who happens to be a Rock/Metal Legend! “
In February, Oxymorrons lit the fuse on the sold-out Bad Omens 28-date tour across the UK and Europe, announcing themselves in breathtaking style. Fans have been calling for the band to return ever since. Oxymorrons listened.
Corey Taylor x Oxymorrons. Brace yourselves; things are about to go wild!
