Formed out of a mutual passion for these genres, Only Love came together with a vision to forge a unique sound that resonates on a deeply personal level while echoing the anthems of a generation.
The band’s DIY ethic, love of storytelling through music, and a melting pot of styles are vividly showcased in their debut EP, ‘Death’s Night Shift’, featuring their previous single release ‘Downpour’ and new single ‘City Morgue’. . “City Morgue is a pivotal track from our concept EP “Death’s Night Shift,” which delves into the story of a protagonist who has succumbed to madness. Believing he is on a righteous mission from a higher power, he commits grisly crimes under the promise of resurrecting his former lover, luring countless romantic encounters to their untimely demise. The song was written and recorded in an allegedly haunted mansion in the English countryside. Immersed in this eerie and atmospheric setting, the band drew inspiration from their surroundings, allowing the mansion’s spectral presence to influence the tone and mood of this macabre tale”.
