Barely a year on from the release of their massively brutal and critically acclaimed debut album “Ingurgitate”, Virginia Beach, VA technical death-metal band The Eating Cave are now ready to unleash their second album “The Miscalculation”, due out on April 21st.
The album’s advance single “Discovery” features the guitar solos of Demon King‘s Matt Brown and is now playing via Metal Injection at this location.
“We have been working on this new record since before “Ingurgitate” was released.” Says the band, “Headed into this album cycle, we decided to approach the project with the intention of raising the bar on every level. Keith Merrow stepped in on engineering duties and carved out a huge atmosphere for us. We refined our sound into something unique, elevated the level of writing we were bringing to the table, and we are very proud of what we came up with.”
