Marrying an insatiably catchy brand of 00s alternative rock with a dark aesthetic and gripping emo intonations, Michigan’s PlainView have dropped their new single, “Little Miss Sickening”. Watch the music video HERE. Stream the track via: “I didn’t realize it at the time, but I think at its core, Little Miss Sickening is a song about addiction. Not necessarily in a chemical sense but addiction to certain behaviors or attitudes”, shares vocalist Andrew Momeyer. “Despite writing this song from a place of struggle, we wanted it to feel like the start of a climb back up from the bottom.” continues Momeyer. “We spent a lot of time talking about the drums. When Ryan first showed us the drum fill coming into the second chorus we all lost our minds! It flowed so naturally, it was little moments like that which help keep the song fresh.” |
