Miranda Easten Releases Music Video to

New Song, “View From Here”

Nashville, TN (Sept 1, 2022) Queensland, New Zealand Native Miranda Easten is debuting the music video for her new single “View From Here” today.   The new track is a love song about enjoying the current moment, rather than worrying about what the future may bring.  The up-and-coming new artist has experienced success on the Australian Country Single charts, placing two releases into the Top 25.  With “Cowboy Lullaby” reaching #16 in 2020, while “Country Boy” peaked at #25 in 2021.

The video was filmed over three days in the beautiful Queenstown-Lakes district in New Zealand with Storyworks’ Holly Wallace directing the project.  Shot in the Fall to capture the region’s famous orange and yellow colors, the clip shows Miranda driving a vintage blue convertible car through stunning alpine scenery.  As the song progresses, and as Miranda and her companion climb in altitude, some of the surrounding mountains will be recognized as being featured extensively throughout Peter Jackson’s ‘The Lord of The Rings’ trilogy as the Mountains of Mordor, The Misty Mountains, and featuring as the slopes of Dimrill Dale which Aragorn leads the fellowship to Lothorien after the Mines of Moria.

“View From Here” was Recorded at Neil Finn’s Roundhead Studios in Auckland, with mixing by Clint Murphy in the UK and mastering by Ryan Smith at Sterling Sound in Nashville.  The track was written in a session with Somin Oscroft and Henry Beasley. About the song, Miranda shares, “our goal was to write a song about living in the moment with the people you love and to enjoy life as it is without projecting into the future during uncertain times.”

Miranda said, “the whole experience was a blast from start to finish, from writing the song with Somin and Henry to creating the video with Holly and the Storyworks crew.”  After several covid lockdown-related delays, she is excited to share it with the world.  Looking to encapsulate feelings of love and friendship while giving a Summer road trip vibe, Miranda hopes others will find the song relatable and enjoyable.
