PREORDER: Immortal Pain EP

Punishing and destructive, French hardcore band Worst Doubt are taking no prisoners on their new EP, Immortal Pain, set for release March 1st on DAZE and BDHW (Europe). Today, the band shares the title track, “Immortal Pain” which shreds and creeps through dark melodies and aggressive vocals. You can listen to it HERE.

On the song’s lyrics, the band states:

“‘Immortal Pain’ is about the idea of acceptance that any life comes with endless suffering. Life will hurt you in any way possible. It’s up to you to accept if you want to be its eternal victim and endure a lifetime of pain or deal with it and move forward.”

Taking influence from bands like Merauder, Suffocation, and King Nine, Worst Doubt have been creating brutal, metallic hardcore for ten years. Following a demo and the 2021 full-length Extinction, Immortal Pain finds the band building on a rawer sound wit the help of Maxime Smadka at Chateau Vergogne and mixing / mastering from Cody Davidson (Sanguisugabogg). It’s five tracks encompassing the roughness of life and how to deal with it, learning to live in acceptance with pain to make life more bearable.

Immortal Pain is available for preorder on vinyl through DAZE.
