Destroy Boys release ‘Plucked’ music video

ahead of Reading & Leeds Festivals, one-off UK headline date and further European appearances this summer

Destroy Boys have released a music video for latest single ‘Plucked,’ which depicts a tea party with a difference. Produced by Carlos De La Garza (Paramore, The Linda Linda’s, Best Coast, etc), ‘Plucked’ is the band’s first release of the year and is a tenacious piece of shimmering pop-rock that slowly veers into post-punk territory.

The band say: “Plucked is an entry to a new era. It’s focused on freedom of expression & learning how to embrace your quirks. It’s ultimately just a little pop-rock banger. It’s super fun to play – we’re excited to play it live in future shows!”

The song was included on the new Spotify Marrow playlist with the band highlighted in the DSP’s 2024 Artists To Watch class. The band’s previous single, ‘Shadow (I’m Breaking Down)’ recently hit #30 on the Alternative Radio Chart in the US.

Destroy Boys have a slew of shows coming up, including a run of headline dates in the US before they head out on a massive North American summer tour supporting Mother Mother and Cavetown. They’ll be rounding off the summer with a clutch of European festival appearances including Reading & Leeds festivals in the UK, plus a headline show in Nottingham and a newly-announced date with The Offspring in Luxembourg.
