BRITs Week For War Child 2024 kicked off last night with performances from Irish singer-songwriter Cian Ducrot and celebrated rock band You Me At Six. Cian left the audience in awe at London’s stunning Union Chapel with his raw, expressive sound. James McVey, the former guitarist of platinum-selling international pop act The Vamps, opened the show in style. Meanwhile, You Me At Six electrified an adoring Brighton crowd at Concorde 2, performing an unforgettable set full of hits including Bite My Tongue, Take on the World and Underdog. The show comes following the surprising news of their 2025 break up, making it one of the final chances for fans to see them in such an intimate setting. Support on the night came from The XCERTS and Heights.
BRITs Week For War Child 2024 gives fans the opportunity to see intimate one-off performances from some of the biggest and most exciting names in music in some of the UK’s best venues. Since BRITs Week’s inception in 2009, the shows have raised more than £7 million for War Child to help children whose lives have been torn apart by war.
BRITs Week is produced by AEG Presents, BPI, Bauer Media Audio UK and War Child, the charity for children affected by conflict. Proceeds from the shows will help to support War Child’s work that aims to reach children as early as possible when conflict breaks out and stay to support them through their recovery – keeping them safe, helping them learn and cope with their experiences, and equipping them with skills for the future.
BRITs Week shows take place around The BRIT Awards 2024 with Mastercard on March 2nd to celebrate another exceptional year in British music.

The series continues tonight with Keane at London’s O2 Shepherds Bush Empire, playing songs from their renowned catalogue ahead of a massive Hopes And Fears 20th anniversary tour in the summer. They’ll be supported by indie bop master Oscar Lang.
