BLACK PISTOL FIRE RELEASES NEW SINGLE “BAD HABIT” TODAY
THE BAD HABIT TOUR CONTINUES HITTING ALL MAJOR US CITIES
August 5, 2022 — Black Pistol Fire release new single “BAD HABIT” today – LISTEN HERE. The track showcases their explosive, impassioned rock ‘n’ roll style. Originally from Toronto, the two-piece band now live in Austin and is comprised of Kevin McKeown (Vocals and Guitar) and Eric Owen (Drums).
Black Pistol Fire states, ”Lyrically the song was written for anyone who has ever struggled with finding the courage to seek out their own individuality amongst the pressures of conforming to what others may think or want you to be.”
Following the release, the band will be on tour hitting all major markets across North America. Previous support tours include GARY CLARK JR., ZZ WARD and THE GLORIOUS SONS. They’ve played Lollapalooza, ACL, Riot Fest, Mad Cool and many more. They have climbed the Rock and Alternative charts in both the US and Canada and have had major syncs in the Toyota Prius’ Superbowl Commercial, Formula 1, NFL Sunday, as well as in TV and film, including Showtime’s Shameless, Hellboy and The Mechanic.
Black Pistol Fire have produced five full-length albums, several EPs and numerous singles—one of which, “Lost Cause,” was the most-played track on rock radio in Canada in 2018 and spent 14 consecutive weeks at Number One on the Canadian charts. They have played all over the country bringing their blistering, blues-rooted, brain-expanding rock ‘n’ roll to audiences both devoted and unsuspecting and laying it all on the line, every single time.
