#1 Active Rock radio-charting British rock outfit ASKING ALEXANDRIA have established themselves as one of the most important rock bands of this generation through years of hard touring, four RIAA Gold-certified singles, two #1 albums and several Top 10 hits. The band—Ben Bruce (lead guitar), Danny Worsnop (vocals), Cameron Liddell (rhythm guitar), Sam Bettley (bass) and James Cassells (drums)—will release their anticipated eighth full-length studio album WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE?
ASKING ALEXANDRIA shared the album’s electrified first official radio single “Psycho” along with releasing the vindictive, heavy-hitting track “Bad Blood”.
“‘Psycho’ is one of those songs that is talking about when you feel trapped inside your own head, trapped by your own vices and your own downfalls,” explains BRUCE. “Whether it’s being stuck in a relationship that doesn’t work for you, or feeling like you can’t stop drinking or doing drugs, or maybe you’re stuck in a job that you hate, and you’re just battling yourself in your own head wondering ‘why am I still here? Why do I keep doing these things?’. Ultimately, at the end of the day we all feel a little bit crazy…a little bit like a Psycho. It’s just a fun song that we can all relate to, and stylistically we thought to ourselves ‘how do we make a song that sounds like it could live on the ‘Like A House On Fire’ album, but also like it could live on the ‘From Death to Destiny’ album?’. So musically, from a writing standpoint, it was a really enjoyable experience to meld those two eras of Asking Alexandria together and see what that might look like.”

‘RUMBLE OF THUNDER: DELUXE ALBUM’ AND
SHARED MUSIC VIDEO FOR BONUS TRACK

Globally lauded Mongolian rock sensation THE HU released their deluxe edition of their acclaimed 2022 sophomore album RUMBLE OF THUNDER. The extended album includes seven new tracks including two acoustic versions of “Bii Biyelgee” and “Mother Nature,” along with two newly recorded singles featuring guest artists: “This Is Mongol (feat. William Duvall of Alice In Chains)” and “Black Thunder (feat. Serj Tankian and DL of Bad Wolves).” To further celebrate RUMBLE OF THUNDER: DELUXE ALBUM’s release, THE HU shared the music video for the updated version of “Mother Nature” featuring renowned singer-songwriter LP (Laura Pergolizzi) whose global success as a solo artist, in addition to their writing credits on songs for a-list artists such as Cher, Rihanna, Céline Dion and Christina Aguilera, has garnered over 4.6 million YouTube subscribers.
“Mother Nature” narrates the similarities between one’s relationship with their mother and the connection between humans and the Earth. In Mongolia, mothers are highly regarded and respected and it’s believed even after death a mother’s soul protects their child as their love is limitless. Everyone on earth is born from a mother and, in a way, Earth another mother that bore them to this world. Having been named UNESCO “Artist of Peace” designees for 2023, THE HU shared an acoustic version of “Mother Nature” in conjunction with World Earth Day earlier this year along with announcing plans to plant 12,000 Siberian Elm trees in the desert-barren area of Southeastern Mongolia in the shape of their logo in partnership with the environmental institution, SHAMBALE2056 Engineering Campus, LLC. “Mother Nature” represents the band’s commitment to raise awareness for environmental issues and help build a globally conscious respect for nature.
LP exclaimed, “I was beyond honored to join The Hu on their beautiful song and contribute some words and vocals on an already gorgeous tribute to our precious planet.”

DIRTY HEADS
DIRTY HEADS + MONSIEUR PERINÉ COLLABORATE ON NEW SINGLE “ISLAND GLOW” FROM THE FORTH COMING MIDNIGHT CONTROL DELUXE ALBUM
Dirty Heads have joined forces with Columbian duo Monsieur Periné on a reimagined version of the song “Island Glow.” “Island Glow” comes with a cool lyric video, which can also be seen now with a deluxe version of MIDNIGHT CONTROL coming July 14.
“I think one of the greatest parts of music is collaboration. Being able to share music with other artists you respect and are fans of. That’s what happened with Island Glow and Monsieur Perinè. We are fans of what they do and we are honored to have them add on and bring their talent to this epic pirate story.” – Dirty Heads vocalist Jared Watson.
“We were very excited to be able to do this collaboration with Dirty Heads. It was a very unexpected invitation. We haven’t had the opportunity to meet each other in person, although we knew their music and admired their work so for that reason, we loved that they invited us to collaborate. It was a creative challenge because it is a song that has a very particular language, it is quite complex English, even pronouncing certain words, and since it is not my native language, it was like a process of taking the time to read and understand everything and then interpret the words. I really liked being able to have the chance to write a part in Spanish, to create a new part and thus also create a new version of the song together with them and to bring these elements that give it a more Latin sound that bring it more towards our energy through percussion, through colors, through our flavor. I think there’s something very interesting about the result and we hope people like it.” – Monsieur Periné
The Midnight Control digital deluxe album will feature 23 tracks including acoustic versions of “Rescue Me,” “Life’s Been Good,” and “Island Glow,” Lo Fi versions of several tracks, 2 unreleased songs and more in addition to all 10 tracks from the original album. CLASSLESS ACT
RELEASES SPECIAL NEW VERSION OF SONG
“STORM BEFORE THE CALM”

“I was a little intimated about being invited to collaborate with a new young rock band – my first initial response, I was very curious to see what was going on. But then when I heard them, the presentation, the presence, the production, the performance … it was very mature … I wondered can I fit into this type of energy? … And then I was inspired to deliver something a little more unique.” — DMC
Not since 1986’s “Walk This Way” cameo with Aerosmith has Run DMC’s Darryl McDaniels appeared on a rock track. But that all changes now as the hip-hop legend is featured on a brand-new version of Classless Act’s single “Storm Before the Calm,” including an original verse he wrote just for the track.
“It was a beautiful collaboration that shows the powerful potential of music – like when Steven Tyler took the mic stand in ‘Walk This Way’ and knocked down the wall that separated us. Even to this day, people talk about it. … I think this song too is going to be very motivating and inspiring to all generations,” says DMC about the collaboration.
“The beauty of making this song with them was the whole intention of us doing it, which was performing together,” DMC adds, saying the track – combining one of the buzziest new rock bands with hip-hop’s godfathers – “breaks down generational walls.”
“That was really the intent behind the songwriting of ‘Storm Before The Calm,’” explains Classless Act frontman Derek Day. “We’re this new band, but we’ve been playing music our whole lives. We want to be this thunder when we make our presence. But we’ve been trying our whole lives to break through. We’ve gone, we suffered, ‘we’ve crawled into the void, laid down and tasted the noise.’ No matter what, we’re going to come in and punch through and be the thunder.”
As far as DMC sees it, that fire and spark is what is crucial in today’s rock scene. “That spirit is missing right now in music, that rebellion,” he says, adding that Classless Act is a great example of rock’s potential. “Punk had one finger up, hip-hop came along and had two fingers up and now Classless Act is going to make us put up four fingers.”

HYRO THE HERO
DEBUTED SECOND SINGLE “SHO NUFF”
WITH ‘LAST DRAGON’-INSPIRED MUSIC VIDEO AND ANNOUNCED NEW ALBUM ‘BOUND FOR GLORY’ DUE SEPTEMBER
Disruptive rap-rocker HYRO THE HERO released a thunderous new single, “Sho Nuff,” Inspired by one of his favorite movies, the 1985 martial arts comedy The Last Dragon, the video for “Sho Nuff” was was filmed at a movie theater in Nantes, FR (where HYRO currently resides) with director Valentin Clemot and parodies scenes from the film.
“‘Sho Nuff’ is an action-packed movie full of huge explosions and abuzz with activity,” says HYRO. “It’s self-esteem put on record inspired by one of my favorite movies as a kid, ‘The Last Dragon.’ I’ve always wanted to make a song that exuded the confidence of Sho’nuff and the heroism portrayed by Bruce Leroy.”
“This song is all about attitude,” HYRO adds. “I was in the zone at the moment of recording, so I didn’t even write, I freestyled this whole song. The place I feel comfortable and confident is in front of the microphone with amazing music. I felt like Godzilla, so I rapped about being Godzilla. I felt I got that glow like Bruce Leroy did, so I had to stamp it with the words ‘Sho Nuff.’ Matt Good helped create the perfect music to allow me to do that.”
HYRO was also excited to announce his third full-length album, BOUND FOR GLORY, will be released on September 15. The 12-track album was recorded and produced by Matt Good (Asking Alexandria, Hollywood Undead) and will include “Sho Nuff” and his recently released single “Head Under Water (feat. REDDSTAR & Dan Sugarman of Ice Nine Kills).”
On the motivation for his new album, HYRO shares, “It’s been a long journey to try and achieve my dreams in music. The failures I’ve faced along the way are scars that heal and teach lessons. Sometimes you may have to go through fires, climb mountains, go face-to-face with enemies and maybe even leap tall buildings in a single bound. But somehow you keep going no matter what difficulties may arise because a fire inside is the energy that drives you, and a voice inside keeps letting you know that you’re Bound For Glory. My album is that voice and that fire is the music on this record.”
