BERNIE MARSDEN’S  MASTERPIECE, “WORKING MAN,” OUT NOW

Bernie Marsden’s  album, “Working Man,” featuring a collection of his original songs, is officially released today through Conquest Music.

Having been married to Bernie for over four decades, Fran Marsden says, “‘Bernie would be excited to finally get his latest work out in the world! He was passionate about doing an album of his own songs again and was extremely proud of the result.”

In the wake of Bernie’s passing, the music community has united in a remarkable display of love and respect. Planet Rockstock has paid tribute by renaming its main stage to The Bernie Marsden Stage, and the Steelhouse Festival will honour the legendary artist with the opening night dubbed #Berniefest.

Last weekend the spirit and joy which Bernie freely radiated was evident at the 10th Rockstock festival with each band that took to the Bernie Marsden stage named in his honour and memory.

The press has showered accolades on the album, with Blues Rock Review stating, “‘Working Man arrives as a pretty fantastic collection of new material—and a great final gift for Marsden fans who miss him’.” Metal Planet Music raved about the album’s quality, affirming, “The quality of work on this album demonstrates Bernie at the top of his game.” Get Ready to Rock summed it up by calling the 22 vibrant tracks “a potent reminder of the craft of Bernie Marsden,” and Rockposer.com hailed it as “an incredible piece of work from a vastly underrated musician.”

The album featuring 12 brand new tracks written by Bernie Marsden himself, was produced by Marsden and mixed by Dave Eringa (Manic Street Preachers, The Who). The limited first pressing of the LP & CD includes a bonus disc with 10 additional new recordings.

“Working Man” serves as a testament to Bernie Marsden’s enduring creativity, showcasing his songwriting and recording prowess at its peak until the very end. This album is a fitting final gift for Marsden fans who miss him dearly.
