The world’s most beloved tenor, Andrea Bocelli, is making a welcome return to the UK and Ireland this September and October for his Believe World Tour, visiting Liverpool, Glasgow, Belfast, Birmingham and Sheffield whilst also performing rescheduled show dates in Dublin and at The O2 London.

In addition to the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, Bocelli will be welcoming on stage a number of special guests during his tour – including son Matteo and daughter Virginia who are set to join the Maestro at selected shows.

Matteo Bocelli will join his father for the shows in Liverpool, Glasgow and Belfast, alongside acclaimed performers Loren Allred, Ayanna Witter-Johnson, Zuzana Markova, Brittany O’Connor and Angelica Gismondo.

Musically gifted from birth, Andrea Bocelli is one of the most celebrated singers in modern history, performing at major international events including the Olympic Games and the World Cup, as well as his own sell-out arena shows around the world. He has a Golden Globeseven Classical BRITs and seven World Music Awards under his belt, plus a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. His 2018 album release, Si, reached No.1 in both the US and UK charts.

This holiday season, internationally renowned tenor Andrea Bocelli is teaming up with his 24-year-old son Matteo Bocelli and his 10-year-old daughter Virginia Bocelli for the their first ever album together, A Family Christmas. Set for release on 21 October via Decca / Capitol Records, the recording showcases their multi-generational musical talent in a range of festive favourites. “We are offering our small, intimate, and heartfelt gift to anyone who wishes to enjoy the soundtrack of Christmas in the Bocelli home” the family says.

The first single to be released is ‘The Greatest Gift’ – a brand new original track written and arranged especially for this album, celebrating peace and love at Christmas time. Andrea, Matteo and Virginia sing in growing harmony, while the music swells towards a rousing final chorus with a string orchestra and choir accompaniment. The single is out today, with a new music video to follow in two days’ time, on Saturday 10 September.

The album is produced by composer and multi-Grammy® and Academy Award® nominee Stephan Moccio (Celine Dion, The Weeknd, Miley Cyrus, Barbra Streisand), who has also contributed new arrangements and co-written ‘The Greatest Gift’ alongside Amy Wadge, Jonas Myrin and Andrea Bocelli.

Andrea’s emotive and instantly recognisable voice has earned him millions of fans around the world. In April 2020, he broke records with his emotionally charged Music for Hope performance from the historic Duomo cathedral in Milan. His unforgettable Easter performance ranks amongst the biggest musical live streams of all-time and the largest simultaneous audience for a classical live stream in YouTube history.

Ultimately, Bocelli understands that all music is good for the soul in a way that taps into the most subtle nuances of humanity, irrespective of individual belief: “Good music brings with it a powerful message of peace and fellowship, teaching us about beauty, and helping us to open our hearts and minds.”

Andrea Bocelli Foundation is proud to partner with PLUS1 ensuring that for every ticket sold, £1 will support “ABF Educational Projects” in Haiti, empowering children from the most vulnerable areas of the Country, offering them the opportunity to express their true potential: www.andreabocellifoundation.org
