NEW HEADLINE UK TOUR DATES FOR 2026 ANNOUNCED!

“CARTOON VIOLENCE” DUE 15TH JANUARY 2026

Continuing to fire on all cylinders, MOTHER VULTURE have unveiled their latest single ‘Pheonix’, with their most anthemic chorus to date that bellows “This is everything to me”. This track embodies every ounce of passion that has gone into this bands journey so far. Whilst it features a slight return to the bands roots of classic rock, it keeps in theme with a more modernised sound that has created a fusion of fast tight drum breaks, epic choruses and a rippin’ guitar solo to boot.

“This latest tune holds a really special place in all of our hearts,” says guitarist Brodie. “’Phoenix’ is really special to all of us, I think the lyrics kind of speak for themselves on this one. We’ve worked really hard to get where we are, and this tune feels like a cathartic release.”

To accompany such a massive track, comes something unexpected, a team up with Gretsch guitars. Coinciding with the release of the latest single, is the launch campaign for Gretsch’s new line of Jet series guitars, an ad which features the band, doubling as the video content for this release.

On the team up with Gretsch he says:

“As a guitarist, and a fanatic enthusiast of Gretsch, I was a little excited to say the least when they asked us to feature in the launch campaign for their new line of Jets. Featuring not just our track, but us just going nuts on camera, doing what we do, well that was just really fucking cool and we can’t thank them enough.”

Whilst the team up with Gretsch is a nice surprise, the band remain DIY to the core, self-releasing this track as they plan to with upcoming album “Cartoon Violence” on 15th January 2026.

Having just announced a 2026 UK tour in support of their upcoming album, the remainder of 2025 sees the band supporting REEF in October (sold out) and playing a small tour in Belgium come December. The next UK headline show is the “Cartoon Violence” album launch at the 450-cap Phoenix in Exeter, on 31st January 2026.

Described as “one of Britain’s most exciting new noises” by Kerrang! and “the new kings of British rock music” by Distorted Sound, everyone seems to agree it’s a hard sound to put a finger on, but it’s impossible to look away. MOTHER VULTURE perform like an early 2000s hardcore band but play a bouncy and infectiously fun style of fuzzy riff rock, with elements of stoner punk, desert rock and even metalcore, creating a melting pot of sound.

Recent years have seen the band make festival appearances at ArcTanGent, Bloodstock, Bearstone (Croatia), Leopallooza, Steelhouse and Burn it Down among others, as well as taking to the road to support the likes of Skindred, Reef, Feeder, ‘68, Steel Beans, Jamie Lenman and Bokassa.

Their debut album “Mother Knows Best” has been described as “an explosion of monster hooks, punkoid ferocity, psychedelic moments and modern twists” by Classic Rock and “somewhere between Royal Blood at their fuzziest, Biffy Clyro at their heaviest and Queens of the Stone Age at their most crazed and chaotic” by Kerrang!.

MOTHER VULTURE’s last headline tour had multiple sold out dates, including a hometown date at Rough Trade Bristol that reached capacity in just 48 hours. Classic Rock Magazine had this to say when featuring the latest single “Break Me” for their Track of the Week: “Easily one of the most physical, explosive live bands in rock today – with feet in metal, hardcore and Hives-y turbo-rock territory – Mother Vulture bottle that ferocity in the aptly titled ‘Break Me’.”

MOTHER VULTURE are:

Georgi Valentine – Vocals

Brodie Maguire – Guitar

Chris Simpson – Bass

Matt West – Drums
