Mangata Festival 2026 Announces 22 New Bands and Venue Update
We’re excited to announce 22 new band additions and a venue update for Mangata Festival 2026, taking place on Saturday 5 September 2026 in Nottingham. With five stages spread across three city-centre venues, this is shaping up to be the biggest edition of Mangata Festival yet.
We’re pleased to confirm that Mangata Festival 2026 will once again feature five stages, working closely with Rescue RoomsRock City, and The Tap & Tumbler. Rescue Rooms will host the Main Stage, with the Red Room stage upstairs, located at Masonic Place, Goldsmith Street, Nottingham (NG1 5LB). Just a few minutes away, Rock City on Talbot Street (NG1 5GG) will host the Beta stage and the Black Cherry Lounge stage. Around the corner, the Tap & Tumbler at 33 Wollaton Street (NG1 5FW) will host our fifth stage, which will be free entry with no ticket required.
On the Rescue Rooms Main Stage, joining previously announced Raised By OwlsRed Method, and In Search of Sun, we’re thrilled to welcome our main stage headlinersten56.. Known for their raw aggression, crushing production, and uncompromising live performances, ten56. continue to push boundaries within modern heavy music. Also joining the main stage lineup are The HaraConfessions of a Traitor, and Wolves Don’t Sleep.

The Rock City Beta stage welcomes a powerful lineup alongside previously announced Hidden Mothers and Hundred Year Old Man. Instrumental rock duo Nordic Giants will headline the second stage, bringing a captivating and visceral live experience that defies conventional description. They are joined by Ward XVIGürlDacara, and Firmament.

Upstairs at Rescue Rooms, the Red Room stage will be headlined by Alpha Male Tea Party. Long regarded as pioneers of the UK’s math and progressive rock scenes, the band are celebrated for their vast, aggressive instrumental soundscapes. They’ll be joined by Sergeant ThunderhoofPremier JesterGurtBad Milk Blood Robot, and Syncolima.

At Rock City’s Black Cherry Lounge, heavy progressive rockers Giant Walker will headline, bringing their dynamic and hard-hitting sound to the fourth stage. They’ll be joined by The GreyTayneWeller, and tealdeer.

Closing the festival at the Tap & Tumbler, modern industrial metallers Anti-Clone will deliver an intimate headline performance on our free entry stage. Also appearing at the venue are Glass Bridges and Tooth & Dagger, rounding off the night in style.

This announcement marks a major milestone for Mangata Festival 2026, with 12 more bands still to be announced and plenty more to come.

Early bird tickets have now SOLD OUT, with regular tickets available at £40 via the Mangata Festival website. Entry on the day will be from 12:00 to 23:00, with closing times varying by stage.
