Fangclub’s new EP ‘all good’, the title of which King describes as, “My most common reply to people no matter what is going on inside”, marks the band’s first collection of new music in half a decade, following their critically acclaimed album ‘Vulture Culture’ (2019). With ‘all good’, Fangclub’s Steven King returned to the core of his existence as a songwriter to create music that’s defined by instinct and pushes the band forwards in fascinating new ways.
Having been recorded at Station Studios in Balbriggan, Co. Dublin, alongside producer Alex Loring (Big Spring, Trophic Gold, Carpark) and mastered by 2 x Grammy award winner Guy Massey, the band worked under no deadline and no pressure for ‘all good’, seeing through the free-flowing and unhindered process of writing the music. “It was an exercise in just being a band again,” King mentions. The new EP signals the return of Fangclub, adapting and shape-shifting into an even more potent beast. ‘all good’ is now available on all platforms right HERE.
