Brighton trio EVILLE have coined their own genre, Brat Metal, a ferocious blend of hyper-feminine lyricism, heavy instrumentation and unapologetic attitude. Equal parts chaos, confidence and catharsis, EVILLE are carving out a sound and identity entirely their own.
Comprised of singer/guitarist Eva Sheldrake, bassist/singer/producer Jude Richards and drummer Milo Hemsley, the band have quickly established themselves as one of the UK’s most exciting new heavy acts. Early support came from BBC Radio 1’s Alyx Holcombe, who named EVILLE Track of the Week twice and selected them for her Ones To Watch for 2025, with further backing from Kerrang!, Metal Hammer, Radio X, Kerrang! Radio and much more.
Known for their explosive live shows, EVILLE have already taken their Brat Metal to some of the UK’s biggest alternative stages, performing at Reading & Leeds, Radar Festival, 2000 Trees and Burn It Down Festival. They have also supported Thornhill, WARGASM, Snot, Alien Ant Farm, As December Falls, Silly Goose, EMNW, Delilah Bon, Cody Frost, THE HARA, Tetrarch, RedHook and As Everything Unfolds, building a reputation as a formidable live act and one of the UK’s most exciting emerging heavy bands.
