Dirt Flirt’s new concept-driven, second EP ‘scorpio fever’ is out today via women-led indie label Final Girl Records. ‘scorpio fever’ reveals the darker side of Dirt Flirt, with the uniquely alternative pop project rooted in vulnerability and obsession. “It’s an exploration of how those emotions can shift and transform, moving from secrecy and intensity to honesty and release,” she says.
The record opens in a dark, mysterious space, where feelings are hidden behind haunting synths and pumping basslines. With each track, those layers peel back, sonically and lyrically evolving to expose what is actually underneath. The EP mirrors the stages of a relationship — from secretive beginnings and obsessive highs to the ultimate emotional fallout, as expressed through the vulnerable, confessional focus track, and EP closer, ‘high horse’.
