Alongside the news of the five-song EP, the band has shared the visualizer for the single “Deadweight.”
The song marks new territory for the band, as it stretched and flexed different creative muscles when crafting the track.
“When writing ‘Deadweight,’ we were really conscious keeping all the elements of what we’re known for but also welcoming in the new sound,” says singer Ben Lumber. “It’s cathartic and anthemic. Lyrically, it’s almost like a conversation between two people expressing how they feel about each other, and coming to terms with how they feel. It’s the first time I’ve written this way.”
