Initially assembled in 2018, and hitting you from Edinburgh, Scotland, BLACKFYRE RISING have been tearing up the live scene since 2019. Loaded with fiery energy, thumping riffs, and commanding vocals, BLACKFYRE RISING draw from the bite and guile of Black Stone Cherry, the dynamism of Alice In Chains, and the musicianship of The Winery Dogs. The result is a deeply compelling and essential listen. Fronted by vocalist and guitarist, James Brown, with Dave Taylor on guitar and backing vocals, Magnus Tait taking care of the bass and backing vocals, and Tom Parker hammering on the drums, the four-piece have a gifted line-up of real players and absorbing characters that are steadfast in producing killer rock cuts.
