Leeds-based alt-rock force Artio today announce the release of their new album, ‘Soul Rot’, on January 21st 2026 through LAB Records. Speaking of the album, Rae Brazill says, “this is the first record I’ve done where I look inwards rather than out, dissecting my own behaviour and how I perceive the world in its liminal state of ending.” The quartet returned last week with their powerful new single, ‘The Devil You Know’, featuring a guest appearance from acclaimed vocalist Cody Frost. Known for their fearless blend of soaring vocals, electronic textures and explosive instrumentation, the track sees the Gen-Z four-piece deliver one of their most uncompromising statements to date. Anchored by Brazill’s searing lyricism and the band’s trademark sonic firepower, ‘The Devil You Know’ confronts the forces that seek to exploit and diminish artists, while reclaiming strength and autonomy through defiance. It’s a song that captures Artio’s enduring commitment to authenticity, catharsis and connection. Speaking on the track, Rae shared that it was, “for the bands, for the scene, for the bastards who want to pillage and profit from it, for the ones who need to know that they deserve better.” |
