Hailing from New Jersey, Good Teal are putting out an explosive and eclectic sound. Today the band release their debut Good Teal EP, meticulously self-record and produced, then mastered by Matt Filipek. Good Teal drives with passion, aggression, and an experimental prowess built on hardcore while pulling influence from alternative and garage rock. The eight tracks focus on personal reflection and observation. Stream Good Teal HERE.
Vocalist and bassist Reg Mason shares:
“This EP is me exploring through my personal assembly of that stress for the first time on record. Whether it’s out-of-state heartbreak (Parasites), hyper-independence (Lookout), complicated parental relationships/loss of potential (Spouse), consciously rejecting the cycle of abuse (Excusing the Hurt), talking myself into starting this band (Freefall), accepting that sometimes we’re not as special as we think (Bittersweet), and the importance of chosen family (Good Teal.)”
Good Teal will celebrate the record release with a show tonight in Montclair, NJ at Meat Locker and on August 24th in Rutherford, NJ at The Williams Center. More info below.
Good Teal is Reg Mason – Vocals & Bass, Shane Stanton – Drums. Curt Grayson – Rhythm Guitar & Keyboards, and Alex Goldenthal – Guitar.
