Australian born, London relocated artist, AIRPORTS has today shared his brand-new single ‘Hermione Brain’. The track is taken from ‘Everything We Know’ EP which is out now on all streaming platforms.
“I wanted to take a different approach with making a pop punk song so I co-wrote and co-produced this one with Sean Hamilton (Justin Bieber, Blackbear, H.E.R, X Ambassadors, Pusha T), shares AIRPORTS. “We really did most of it synthetically to begin with, with a focus on simple and catchy lyrics. After adding guitars I ended up putting a hyperpop inspired bridge in to maintain some electronic edge. The song is about falling for an emotionally avoidant, booksmart type.”
