“DON’T MAKE ME GET OVER YOU” – LISTEN HERE
Critically acclaimed singer-songwriter and rising star Adam Doleac releases his latest track, “Don’t Make Me Get Over You,” now available on all streaming platforms. Listen here. A daringly honest look at falling in and out of love, “Don’t Make Me Get Over You” intertwines the real and raw emotions of the hope for reconciliation with hesitation and doubt.  The track, written by Doleac,Andy Skib, and Bobby Hamrick delivers a stripped back new style of contemporary soft rock equipped with soulful guitar riffs, melodic keys, and steady percussion.

Rooted in a timeless yet unpredictable sound, “Don’t Make Me Get Over You” follows Doleac’s recently released tracks including the viral fan-favorite track, “Biggest Fan” and “Wrong Side of a Sunrise” (both the studio version and the highly-requested demo release) in addition to his acoustic masterpiece Barstool Whiskey Wonderland (Wonderland Sides) EP, a direct follow up to his 18-track debut album Barstool Whiskey Wonderland that was released in 2022.

“The raw emotions that follow the aftermath of dealing with an on-again-off-again relationship is something that many can attest to. When creating ‘Don’t Make Me Get Over You,’ we wanted to tell a story that brought closure to those who have experienced the romantic upset of a toxic relationship. They say music is therapeutic and enhances the ability to communicate, so my hope is that through this track people are able to find the beauty in the complex emotions of a breakup,” Doleac shared.

Earlier this year, Doleac wrapped his first-ever headlining tour captivating audiences across the nation with his heartfelt lyrics, velvety voice, impressive range, and ability to play multiple instruments throughout his set. His stripped back acoustic performances wowed audiences throughout the tour with sold-out crowds in New York, Boston, Dallas, and Charlotte among many others. Later this year, Doleac is set to perform at Ohio’s Country Music Fest, Bash on the Bay and Sacramento’s Golden Sky Festival, along with a string of shows with Country heavy hitters Old Dominion later this Fall.

About Adam Doleac:
Raised in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Arista Nashville/Sony Music Nashville rising star Adam Doleac credits devoted parents for his strong work ethic, and his dream-chasing determination. After earning a baseball scholarship to the University of Southern Mississippi, he ended up playing in front of 30,000 at the College World Series – fueling a craving for big crowds he still chases today. Doleac fell in love with music during college, writing songs with teammates and challenging himself to play hometown shows while devouring the work of emotional explorers like John Mayer, Gavin DeGraw, Amos Lee and more. He acquired a publishing deal after posting an original song to YouTube that went viral, and then finally decided to make the move to Nashville. He spent the following years sharpening his penmanship, and eventually Kane Brown, Gabby Barrett, Darius Rucker and more had all cut his songs, while Doleac built a grassroots fanbase touring the country in his pickup truck. Proving the old adage of Nashville being a 10-year town, Doleac delivered his 18-track debut album Barstool Whiskey Wonderland on September 30, nearly a decade after relocating to Music City. In May, he concluded his first-ever, sold-out headlining tour, the “Barstool Whiskey Wonderland Tour.” With tracks like the Gold-certified “Famous” and soul-mate anthem “Another,” both of which hit No. 1 on SiriusXM’s The Highway, fans have gotten only a glimpse of that wonderland so far. Now they get the full picture.
