Horror-punk newcomers Mean Ghouls have released their new single ‘He’s A Serial Killer’, taken from their debut album, …and the Horror Goes On, which arrives this Friday, 30 October, just ahead of Halloween.
Clocking in at under two minutes, ‘He’s A Serial Killer’ is a fast, frantic blast of horror-punk, with a spooky, tongue-in-cheek video to match.
Speaking of the new single Mean Ghouls vocalist Alex Marshall shares, “A song that sits under two minutes is a song that often has one job and does it well. That’s the case here. I am a huge Ramones fan, and this was my homage to them and my other favourite band, the Misfits. Right after writing this, I was singing it. I challenge anyone with a sense of humour and a taste for punk rock not to enjoy this. If you don’t, then fine – but I think that’s a you problem.”
