“The words ‘fuck it let’s do it’ are the words that started this band and it’s become the attitude for what we do, in our music, in our live shows, our artwork, it all comes from that sense of just going completely nuts.” – Terry, drums

Emerging from the Leeds, UK hardcore scene in 2024, CROWQUILL are creating a cathartic experience through chaotic metalcore with elevated technical prowess. Following 2025’s incredibly well received Crowquill EP (The Coming Strife), CROWQUILL have signed with DAZE and Hardlore Records to release their debut full-length, SLEPT WITH CANNULA, due out November 20th. Sticking to doing everything on their own terms, guitarist Kahal created the album artwork, as well as handled production, mixing and mastering at his home studio. Recorded with no click, each song was done in a straight shot to match the energy of CROWQUILL’s fervent live show. The band’s sound and imagery latches onto late ’90s/early ’00s metalcore bands like On Broken Wings and Converge, while pushing through a modern lens. The ten track album seethes with emotional pain conceived through a cacophony of scathing vocals and irregular rhythms.

Single “CANNULA,” out now, is a four minute frenzy. The band deliver sonic devastation through layered riffs, sliding intervals, and disruptive drums.   Vocalist Liam’s screams portray a vivid imagery of recovery, capturing the very real life experiences depicted throughout the album.

Crowquill are currently in the midst of a UK tour with support from With Paper Wings, and will head out on a European tour in January 2027 alongside label mates Contention. Full dates below.
