Born inside Rotterdam’s anarchist Poortgebouw community in 2025, Bombstrap have wasted little time establishing themselves as one of the most uncompromising new forces in underground hardcore. Now, the Manchester and Rotterdam four piece announce their debut album, Big Enemy, due out on October 2, 2026 via Tartarus Records. Alongside the announcement, the group share “The Green Dress,” the first taste of Big Enemy. Caustic, explosive and unapologetically hostile, the track captures Bombstrap at their most direct, channeling nihilism, black alchemy and ultraviolence into a raw burst of hardcore. Rooted in the confrontational spirit of No Trend and Total Abuse, “The Green Dress” turns the band’s rejection of authority and conformity into something immediate, abrasive and deliberately uncomfortable. Listen to “The Green Dress” here. Bombstrap’s rise has been almost as explosive as their music. Following a raw live recording captured at only their second ever show at WORM, the band launched into a relentless run of performances across Europe, tearing through Roadburn, Fusion Festival, Grauzone, Down the Rabbit Hole, Skinfest, Vera, Voidfest, WORM, OCCII and more, quickly earning a reputation for chaotic and confrontational live shows. That energy now erupts across Big Enemy. Delivered with ruthless attitude, the album is a sonic bullet aimed squarely at the heart of a corrupt society: abrasive, hostile and fueled by anarchic conviction. Big Enemy will be released October 2, 2026 via Tartarus Records on vinyl, cassette and all digital platforms, pre-orders are now available at this location. |
